My Dear Country Patriot,
The power of transforming America, our beloved Country, is within us! Yes! No more discouragement, worry, or despairing! No more shaking of head while listening the news!
Don’t you remember that for us who are born again we are the temple of the living God? And that He has given us not a spirit of timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline? ((2 Timothy 1:7)?
Who follows Christ and has surrendered to Him possess the Spirit of God, regardless of the man-made denomination he or she belongs to, be it Baptist, Methodist, or Roman Catholic. Because either you belong to Jesus, or you belong to man-made religion, which offers no salvation.
Here is what Mother Angelica, a true saint and a Roman Catholic nun, once said in a quote captured by her biographer and friend Raymond Arroyo in his book Mother Angelica’s Little Book of Life Lessons and Everyday Spirituality (which I highly recommend to you as well as her biography), on p. 103:
“The Dignity of a Christian”
“The LORD came so that you and I might be a temple of His Spirit. Can you imagine that God, Who created the universe and all its majesty, is inside of you? That truth is your witness and you must be aware of your full dignity. I wonder if we are not changing the world because we have lost sight of the crucial truth that God is within us?” (Italics are mine).
Jesus gives us the power and authority to drive out all demons and cure diseases (Luke 91);
He gives us all authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18);
He gives us all authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal any kind of disease and every kind of sickness (Matthew 10:1);
He gives us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure us (Luke 10:19);
He give us the right to become children of God (John 1:12);
He gives us authority to build each other up and not for destroying each other (2 Corinthians 10:8);
He gives us authority so that everyone on whom we lay our hands may receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 8:19);
To each of us who overcomes, and keeps His deeds until the end, to him He will give authority over the nations (Revelations 2:26);
We have been made to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and we will reign upon the earth (Revelation 5:10);
If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He also will deny us (2 Timothy 2:12);
And the Scriptures testify of many more promises given to us by the Living God that we have received His power and authority within us if we claim it. To do so we need to seek His face, repent and surrender to Him, and pick up our cross and follow Him and serve. And claim His promises and live them, like we claim and deposit a check. The latter is no good if we keep it in our safe; the promise of God is no good if we do not live it out.
For those of us born again, don’t be discouraged nor be dismayed, because if God is for us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31) ? Let’s start transforming the world around us, beginning with our families, friends, and coworkers.
Country Patriots, this is the Way our Founders lived out and followed. God created a great nation through them because they were willing to obey Him, and He is eager to renew and rebuild America again through us now, in this very generation, if we are willing to obey Him.
Who knows that He has appointed you and I to our position as fathers, mothers, sons and daughters, and at the job we hold for this very this purpose” to transform again America and the world? The Scriptures say “if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance (for the Jews, but it is legitimate to say for Americans) will rise from some other place, but you and your father’s house will perish.” (Esther 4:14)
For those of you who do not know Jesus, see what you miss? You can become His, be forgiven of your sins, healed of your fears and worries, and receive His authority, provided you truly and sincerely repent of your sins and commit your life and your loyalty to Him.
The time is now. Later can be too late because you do not know when death comes to you.
In Jesus’ Name I pray you make a decision today to make a difference in your life now and for eternity, and a decision for America, to rebuild her so that she remains a strong light in the dark world. Amen.
